BaltShip A/S opens new office in Singapore

After having successfully entered the Chinese market in 2007, BaltShip continues to expand in Asia and opened a new office in Singapore 1 September 2011.

Head of the new team is BaltShip's Sales Director, Jeppe Frank. BaltShip has wanted to strengthen its position in Asia for some time now which is the reason why the company has decided to open a new office in Singapore. In addition, BaltShip's presence in the Asia Pacific market region enables the company to cooperate even closer with Australia and New Zealand where BaltShip is one of the leading companies within project transport and logistics.

BaltShip donates DKK 10.000 to Afrika Nu

The Horn of Africa is experiencing the worst drought in 60 years, and more than 12 million people are in desperate need of shelter, food, water and medicine. Hunger and malnutrition cause diseases and have a damaging effect on the physical and mental conditions for both children and adults.

In a situation like this, BaltShip feels obliged to help and has therefore made a donation to the nationwide collection: Afrika Nu.


 

 


 


Brazil Windpower 2011

Countries across Latin America have huge wind resources. Wind industry leaders from around the world recognize the potential growth and opportunities for the industry in Brazil. They all met 31 August - 2 September 2011 at the Brazil Windpower 2011 to learn about the market potential and the latest industry developments.

BaltShip participated in this year's event and thus got the opportunity to network with companies already working across the region and learn about their experience.


 

 


 


CanWEA's 27th Annual Conference and Exhibition

3-6 October 2011 more than 2,500 experts from all over the world get together to discuss the opportunities and latest developments in the Canadian wind energy industry. The exhibition hall will feature over 250 exhibiting companies and will provide companies with an exclusive opportunity to network and generate new business leads.

China WindPower 2011

The Chinese wind power industry has doubled its installed wind power capacity every year for the past five years. Organized by CREIA, CWEA and GWEC - the three leading industry associations - China Wind Power 2011 conference and exhibition has built a reputation as the annual meeting point for business leaders, technical specialists and investors.

Bright Green Denmark

21-24 November 2011 BaltShip will be a part of the Danish business delegation headed by HRH the Crown Prince and HRH the Crown Princess of Denmark in Sydney and Melbourne promoting Denmark and Danish businesses in Australia. Through conferences, seminars and events, Bright Green Denmark will focus on Smart Cities, ​Renewable Energy and Food & Food Technology.

 


 


European Offshore Wind 2011

29 November - 1 December 2011 visitors will be able to meet the key players in offshore wind power from Europe, North America and Asia at the European Offshore Wind 2011. European Offshore Wind represents an opportunity to discover the latest industry best practices, create new business opportunities with global contacts and network with international leaders. Also this year BaltShip will attend the exhibition in Amsterdam.

 


 


New employee

It is our pleasure to announce that Ms. Sanne Larsson has been employed at BaltShip A/S, Business Unit Project Industry.

Sanne is 23 years old and has previously worked for FLS in Copenhagen and has had three short consecutive jobs working for fellow forwarders in Sydney NSW Australia. 
 

 


New apprentice

We are very pleased to announce that Lykke O. Larsen has joined us as BaltShip's new apprentice. Lykke is 20 years of age and graduated from Handelsskolen Silkeborg in June this year.

Lykke will commence her education in the Business Unit Project Wind.

 


 


New Finance and Office assistant

It is with great pleasure that we welcome Ella Sun (孙金玉) to BaltShip (China). Ella has joined our company as Finance and Office assistant.

Ella is freshly graduated from college IDPST, Beijing(防灾科技学院), from where she has achieved a bachelor's degree in English and office administration. During her years in college, Ella has also studied Japanese.

 


 


New Project Manager

It is with great pleasure that we have the opportunity to welcome Nick Li to BaltShip China. Nick Li has joined our company as Project Manager.

Nick Li has graduated from college BCEB, Beijing (北京首都经济贸易大学), from where he has achieved a degree in Economic and Management. Nick has worked in the shipping industry for the last 9 years, and he has extensive experience within project transportation. He will be part of our operation team and support our site and port operation due to the continued development for BaltShip in the Chinese market.
